| Bill Owen, based in the Washington Metropolitan Area (No. Va., Md., and D.C.) specializes in photographing dogs, cats, horses, and the occasional adult and young person. Bill is a Manhattan art gallery-exhibited photographer who loves dogs, who has owned dogs, and who is excited about creating memorable portraits of dogs, cats, and horses for private clients in the mid-Atlantic region. |
We come to your home. Sessions are indoors for a studio look using a white backdrop and artificial lights, and/or outdoors. We make sure your pet is comfortable and relaxed during the session. The atmosphere is non-serious, light, and playful. Bill’s talent is capturing the wonderful innocence, spontaneity, loyalty, and utter honesty of your pet. Your satisfaction is not merely important to us – we guarantee it.

RECENT EVENTS

Bill photographed around 30 dogs on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, April 8, 9, and 10 at Dog Paws and Cat Claws Pet Care. Here are a few of those shots.
On Sunday, Feb. 13, 2011, we were at Wag More Dogs (http://www.wagmoredogs.com/), in Arlington, VA, for a Bill Owen Pooch Portrait Photo Event. We met some very nice dog owners, and had a great time photographing Daisy, Ronan, Roxy, Phoebe, Riley, Callie, Gilligan, and Kermit. Clockwise, below, from this event, starting from the top right corner, that's Gilligan, Kermit, Riley, Phoebe, Kermit again, and Callie. The new photo of the month is Ronan, again from the same shoot. Thanks to all the dog owners who came out for this pre-Valentine's Day event.
